Call to Action & SMS Consent
Program: Clockkeeper Game Night Notifications · Sender: What the Duck Farms LLC
About This Program
Clockkeeper is a private, password-protected web application used exclusively by the organizer of a Blood on the Clocktower tabletop game group. It is not a public website or consumer product. There is no public-facing sign-up form, landing page, or self-enrollment flow of any kind. Only the game organizer has login access to the app.
How Opt-In Works (Organizer-Mediated)
Consent is collected in person or over the phone — directly between the game organizer and each player — before any number is ever entered into the app. The opt-in process is as follows:
- The organizer speaks with the player in person or by phone.
- The organizer asks the player whether they agree to receive SMS messages for game night coordination (see exact language below).
- Only after the player explicitly agrees does the organizer log into the Clockkeeper app and manually enter that player's phone number.
- No player ever visits a web form or enters their own number. The entire opt-in interaction happens off-platform, between two people.
Consent language used by the organizer before adding any player:
"Would you like to receive SMS messages from What the Duck Farms LLC for private Blood on the Clocktower game night invitations, RSVPs, arrival-time questions, and event coordination? Message frequency is recurring, typically 1–4 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Your phone number and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes."
The player's agreement — verbal or written — is recorded by the organizer before the number is entered.
No Public Web Form
Phone numbers are never collected through any publicly accessible web page, advertisement, QR code, email campaign, or online form. The Clockkeeper application itself is accessible only to the game organizer via password and is not linked from any public-facing website.
What Messages Players Receive
After opt-in, players may receive: game night invitations, RSVP requests and confirmations, arrival-time coordination, and occasional event logistics messages (such as group food-order coordination). All messages relate exclusively to private Blood on the Clocktower game night events organized by What the Duck Farms LLC.
Message Frequency
Recurring, typically 1–4 messages per week per active game night season.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-Out and Help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact the organizer directly at nick.boronski@gmail.com.
